ASSOCIATION FOR CIVIL RIGHTS
ADC is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-partisan organization. It was founded in 1995 in Argentina with the purpose of contributing to the establishment of a legal and institutional culture that would guarantee fundamental rights to the inhabitants of our country, based on respect for the Constitution and the democratic values.

OUR STRATEGIES/ OUR ACTIONS
ALLIANCES Alliances with local, foreign, and international organizations ADC works with governmental, nongovernmental and academic actors that share its public interest goals, coordinating efforts that allow for wider impacts in our thematic public interest areas and more efficient ways of effecting political reforms. In these collaborative efforts, ADC is working with important local organizations on topics related to reform of the justice system: The Center for Legal and Social Studies (CELS), Citizen Power Foundation , The Foundation for Environmental and Natural Resources (FARN), The Institute of Comparative Studies in Penal and Social Sciences (INECIP), and The Consumers Union. ADC has also developed a network with organizations from different regions of the country. With these organizations, is working to promote the public interest in themes as broadcasting and democracy, and defense of legal rights. These organizations include: Citizen Participation (Ushuaia), Political for political Management (Rosario), Foundation of Families of Defenseless Victimes (Mendoza), Association for the Development of Social Communication, and Center of Human and Environmental Rights (Cordoba). With foreign and international organizations, ADC is collaborating on projects with Article 19 (UK), the British Council (UK), American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Interamerican Dialogue (USA), IPYS (Peru), and others.
